I specialize in photographing pets in their natural settings. If you're looking for a more formal, studio style shot of your four legged friend then I am not the photographer for you. I'd much rather shoot Fido chasing after his favourite stick, or you and Clip-Clop riding into the sunset. Pictures that you can look back on years into the future and be reminded not only of what your favourite pet looked like, but also of the kind of soul they had. Although I’m known mostly for my equine photography, I am happy to shoot all animals, including the two legged kind.
For your average shoot, you’re looking at roughly a 45-60 minute timeframe, though I may recommend a longer or shorter shoot depending on the situation. These shoots start at $175, which includes small digital files perfect for sharing on social media. Larger files, prints, albums, and other products can be purchased afterward.
If you know you’re going to want to order prints or digital files, print credits can be purchased in advance to save you money. For an additional $75 on the session fee, receive a $100 print credit. Higher print credits up front will fetch you even more savings.
Hosting an event? I'm available to shoot horse shows, clinics, mountain trail challenges, etc. Your show will be given its own online gallery for participants to order prints and digital files from. USB drives are also available for pick up. I promise a two week turn around on all photos being ready (unless otherwise mentioned), though the gallery is usually up much quicker than that.
For most schooling and small club shows, I don't charge a day fee. Depending on your show's location, I may charge for fuel. My schedule fills up fast for show season, so the sooner you contact me, the better.
I serve the Grey and Bruce County in Ontario. I grew up in Wiarton, and currently reside in Owen Sound, and have been a part of the local horse community pretty much my entire life.
